Ginger was raised in Yakima, Washington. She received an academic scholarship to attend Washington State University and in 1986 graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. In 1987 she moved to the Seattle area to pursue her nursing career. In 1991 she became (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified. Over the last 20+ years she has been fortunate to work as an RN, BSN., within a wide variety of areas in the health care field. In 2000 Ginger decided to reevaluate her lifestyle, started on a fitness, nutrition training program, and reached her fitness goals by losing over 70 lbs. She realized her passion was to work with clients to help them attain their goals. Ginger has been a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) since 2005. She is also American Institute of Fitness Educators, Older Adult Fitness Certified. Ginger is among the few elite training professionals who are Muscle Activation Techniques Certified Specialist. Ginger enjoys healthy gourmet nutritional cooking, hiking, biking, travel and spending time with her family.

Kurt was raised in Edmonds Washington. He has been in sports and fitness throughout his life. In high school he was Captain of the football team and undefeated in wrestling. After high school Kurt commercial fished in the Bering Sea for 6 years and realized his passion was still for fitness. Following his dream he became an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer in 1999 to teach others how to obtain their fitness goals through proper mechanics and nutrition. He also has a certification from American Institute of Fitness Educators (AIFE) in Older Adult Fitness. Kurt is among the few elite training professionals who are Muscle Activation Techniques Certified Specialist. Kurt worked at Gold’s Gym in Mill Creek Washington for 6 years. He moved to Anacortes with his wife Ginger and son Hunter in 2004. Kurt enjoys numerous outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and scuba diving. He summited Mount Rainier in 1998. He enjoys traveling, has visited 40 countries and 45 out of our 50 United States.
